Terms of service
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms cover your use of DRSite, a website backup, monitoring, and recovery service provided by Netcetera ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You need an account to use DRSite. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
Sites you add
Only add websites you own or are allowed to back up, copy, and monitor. When you add a site, DRSite checks its public address from several locations and, depending on your plan and what you install, backs up its files and database. If you connect DNS, hosting, or storage accounts, you allow DRSite to act on them for you, for example changing an A record when you fail over.
Acceptable use
- Do not use DRSite to store or serve unlawful content, or content you have no right to.
- Do not try to break, overload, or get around the security of DRSite or of other customers' sites.
- Do not use DRSite to monitor or copy sites without permission.
Plans, billing, and cancelling
Each site has a plan, shown with its price on our pricing. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. You can change or cancel a plan at any time from your account; a cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then the site moves to Essential. Deleting a site, or your account, cancels its subscription straight away, without a refund for the rest of the period. Prices may change; we will tell you before a change affects you.
Backups and your data
Your sites, backups, and settings belong to you. We store backups for as long as your plan keeps them, and delete them when you delete the site or your account. Storage limits are set by your plan. Keep your own copies of anything important: no backup service can promise that every backup will always be complete or restorable.
Availability and recovery times
We work to keep DRSite running and to detect and recover from outages quickly, but the service is provided as available. Backup frequency, check intervals, and failover are described per plan; they are service targets, not guarantees, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, or data, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us for DRSite in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the service
You can close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where we reasonably can.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
